SAUNDERS, Vernon Francis – 82 of Auburn passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton with family by his side. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Charles and Vivian (Wilson) Saunders. Vernon, along with his wife operated E.O. Randall Farm in Auburn for many years. He was a member of the Aylesford United Church and a member of Harmony Masonic Lodge #52, Aylesford and was the recipient of his 50 year jewel from the Masonic Order. Vernon is survived by his wife the former Neva Randall; daughter Linda (Barry) Dunlop, Auburn; brother, Marvin (Cathy) Saunders, Waterville; grandchildren Allan and Trinda-leigh (Cal Langley). He was predeceased by an infant brother. By request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. Monday, May 23 rd in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1 855 825-3448 beginning with a Masonic Lodge Tribute at 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 th in the Aylesford United Church, Rev. John Moses officiating. Private interment will be in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. A reception will follow the service in the Church Annex.
