Tidd, Vicki Lynn – 62, of Conway, Digby Co., NS passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of Hilda (Brinton) Caldwell and the late Orland Steadman. Vicki worked as a weaver on the needle loom with Britex. She was a cleaner and did laundry at the Admiral Inn, Digby. Vicki loved puzzles, watching game shows, and doing diamond art. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was well known on Facebook for listing gas prices, acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries, and noting hospital openings & closures. Surviving are her mother, Hilda Caldwell, Middleton; husband of 39 years, Joseph "Joe" and together for 41 years; sons, Matthew Tidd (Beth Buckler), Digby; Brandon (Monica) Tidd, Kitchener, ON; sisters Janice Steadman, Brantford, ON; Marina Zwicker (Robert Clark) British Columbia; Ann Steadman (Steve Moore), South Farmington; brothers David (Heather) Steadman, North Williamston; Bruce Steadman (Holly Connell), Nictaux; Michael (Heather) Charlton, Bear River; grandchildren Cohen and Chloe. She was predeceased by her father Orland. In keeping with Vicki's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
