JEWER, Viola "Eileen"-90 of Berwick, formerly of Kingston passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Rose Blanche, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Winnifred (Stagge) Parsons. Eileen was very artistic, an excellent dress maker and enjoyed upholstery. She devoted her life to raising her 4 children and adored all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Lorraine Cushnie, Pitt Meadows BC; sons, Raymond (Joan) Jewer, Hamilton, ON; Roger (Norma) Jewer, Ridgeway, ON; James (Imelda) Jewer, Ancaster, ON; grandchildren, Mark (Rhonda) Cushnie; Todd (Debra) Cushnie ; Becky Jewer; Michelle (Felice) Venturin; Melissa (Aaron) McKay; Chelsi McNeill-Jewer; Jamie Jewer and great grandchildren, John Cushnie, Hayden and Lucas Venturin. Sisters, Myrtle Styles, Harmony; Hope Sperdakes, Spryfield; Joan Skinner, Middleton; Bertha Parsons, Greenwood; Gloria (Buddy) Tuddy, Phyllis (Philip) Spinney and Carmelita (Peter) Jollimore, all of Harmony. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Fred Jewer; sister, Rita Watchorn; brother, Herbert Parsons; infant twin brothers and brothers-in-law, Percy Watchorn, George Sperdakes and Reg Skinner. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. Interment will be held prior to the service in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. The memorial service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, March 21, 2013 in the Kingston Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Donations in Eileen's memory may be made to the charity of choice.
