Obituary

GREENE, Virginia Pearl "Ginny" – age 73 of North Williamston, NS passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Blake and Augusta (Greene) Magee. Ginny was an avid bingo player and loved her Tim Horton's coffee. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Ginny devoted her life to raising her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, George Greene; daughters, Vivian (Doug) Finley, Debert; Debbie (Lester) Caines, Middleton; Jackie Greene, North Williamston; brother, Percy Magee (Kathy Hart), Ellershouse; grandchildren Blake Finley, Nicole Finley, Amie Caines, Kayla Caines and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Patricia. In keeping with Ginny's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service for her family and very close friends will take place 2:00PM Saturday, September 16th in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
