Obituary

FIELD, Walker Daniel ~ Walker's story starts on May 6, 2010. Born in Squamish, B.C., he was the 8 year old son of Tamara Tupper and Sam Field. Walker touched the lives of everyone he met and left lasting impressions from coast to coast, as he travelled and lived with his family in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. Walker was an avid horseman and he loved caring for all the animals on the family farm. Walker lived his life outdoors, spending his time fishing, 4 wheeling, horseback riding, biking, catching frogs, scaring his Mammie with snakes then eating her pumpkin pie, shenanigans at the camp, and driving the snowmobile he got from Nana and Bompa. W.D. ran the farm on his souped-up pulling tractor, and learned a love of "wrenching" from all the time spent with his dad in the shop. He was a mama's boy right down to the core, from early morning cuddles to bedtime stories, his mom was his best friend. Walker had more miles under his cowboy boots than most adults, and all those miles were traveled with his baby sister Memphys, either teasing her or protecting her like the best big brother he was. He was a Grade Three student at St. Mary`s Elementary School in Aylesford. Walker will always be loved and remembered by his large family, friends, classmates and community, who are all heart broken that Walker's story ended much too soon. Surviving are his parents, Sam Field and Tamara Tupper; sister, Memphys Field; grandparents - Linda (Ken) Schaeffer; Bill (Julie) Dempsey; Neil Tupper; Sharon (the late Jeffrey Bowen) Dorney; Dan (Barb) Field; aunts, uncles and cousins: Billiejo (Ben) Keddy - Nicole, Jesse, Travis, Georgia & Wyatt; Crystal (Wade) Allen - Brooklyn, Jaxson, Kerrigan & Landen; Neil Shannon (Lyndsay) Tupper - Harrison & Stella; Heidi (Josh Schofield) Tupper - Savannah, Dallas & Millicent; Virginia (Tim Palmer) Fynes - Ruby & Levi; Cyndi (Scott) MacLean - Zack & Dan; Chris Lutz - Taylor & Sydney; Brian (Leanne) Richards - Braden, Jack, Jollie & Dalton; Sarah (Laine) Curtis - Tristan & Dakota. The family invites all ages and welcomes Walker's friends to attend the visitation from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, February 10, at the Morristown Community Centre, 10 Prospect Rd., Morristown.
