It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wallace Connors, who passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 71.
Wallace was the devoted and loving husband of Loretta (Burns) Connors, sharing a lifetime built on love, strength, and commitment. He was a proud father to Paula (Merrill) Buglar and Michelle (John) Andersen.
His greatest joy was his family — especially his grandchildren, Kaleb, Madison, and Jaden Perry; Dakota and Dawson Balsor; step grandchildren, Shannon and Sam Buglar; Dakota and Cayden Andersen. He loved them more than words can express and treasured every moment spent with them. He was also a proud great-grandfather to his precious Ivy Rose Keddy, who brought him immense happiness. Wallace is survived by his loving mother, Gladys Connors.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert; his sister, Marilyn; and niece, Malinda (Lutz). He leaves behind his sister, Sharon (Andy) Connors Roop; brothers, Marvin (Donna) Connors, Kirk (Sandra) Connors, Kevin (Jackie) Connors, and Corey (Christine) Connors; as well as his sister-in-law, Pauline Cooper; and nieces and nephews whom he loved. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and countless friends, many of whom he had the honour of talking to before he passed and many whom he hadn't.
Wallace dedicated much of his life to hard work and serving his community. He spent 27 years with Corkum's Land Drainage from there he went to work at the Larsen's plant in Berwick until it closed. Wallace then went to work at the Berwick Apple Dome, where he left a lasting legacy through dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly nature.
Wallace ("Chubs", "Shorts" or "Wally") was known for being a great friend to all — always ready to lend a helping hand. And MAN his smile could light up a room, and his kindness and generosity touched everyone he met. His family meant everything to him, he loved to sit on his deck and listen to good old country music (Johnny Cash being his favourite), this is where he loved to have his friends and family join and have a chat, a game of cards, heck even a party he loved to dance. Wallace was an avid collector of antiques, always up for a yard sale and searching for the next piece to add to his collection :).
He will be forever remembered for his warmth, compassion, unwavering love for family and friends, and the incredible example he set for all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
