Obituary

WARNER, Walter Kenneth "Ken" ~ age 68 of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, Ken was a son of Kenneth Warner and the late Dorothy (Hardy). Ken was a man of all trades, was artistic and had many hobbies; enjoying painting, woodworking, metal detecting, fly fishing and woodworking. Ken volunteered with the Boy Scouts organization for thirty years. He loved holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife, Brenda Noreen (Clow); daughter Erin Warner, Hamilton, ON; son Liam (Patt) Warner, Saint John, NB; step-daughters Tammy (D'Arcy Matters) Clow, Kingston; Tera LeClair, Charlottetown, PEI; step-son Gary (Kim Praught) Young, Clyde River, PEI; sister Debi (David) Gallant, Summerside, PEI; brother Glen (Susan) Warner, Eastern Passage; grandchildren Cynthia, Jessica, Mia, Evan, Victoria, Latisha and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Hardy. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, April, 23, 2018 in St. Mark's Chapel, Church Street, Greenwood with Padré Kent Greer officiating. Interment will be in PEI at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Carey Me Fund Supporting Palliative Care, the Valley Hospice or Diabetes Canada.
