Warren Allen
Fredericks
January 1, 1939 – September 30, 2023
The family of Warren Allen Fredericks, 84, of Carleton Corner, Nova Scotia, with broken hearts and deep sorrow announce his unexpected passing on September 30th, 2023 at home.
Warren was born in West Dalhousie to the late Warren and Alberta (Veinot) Fredericks on January 1, 1939. He was a resident of Bridgetown his entire life. He learned at an early age to work hard beginning at home and in the woods with his father. He later achieved his electrical certificate while working at Valley Service and Don Harris' Appliance and eventually worked for himself for a time. In 1971, he went to work at 14 Wing Greenwood as an electrician in the C.E. Section until his retirement. This was a career that grew with more responsibility over the 27 years and he enjoyed several trips to Bermuda and Frobisher Bay ( Iqaluit) He was very thorough and precise in everything he set out to do. Dad loved being " out in the woods" fishing and hunting and being at the Camp. He was a genuine and loyal Chev/GMC man, preferring to only drive vehicles of that make. He could tell you what he was driving at the time of all life's milestones and in between. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Warren is survived by his daughter, Lorie, Son, Warren; granddaughter, Jodie; grandsons, Colin, Nathaniel and Daniel; sister, Audrey Young, Cambridge and brother, Jack Fredericks, Annapolis Royal as well numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lila; sisters, Joan Hannam, May Harris and Goldie Vidito.
