Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beloved dad, loving husband, caring grandfather and friend. He was a man who only sat still long enough to read the paper or watch the news. You were more likely to find him puttering around the house or tending to his yard, often accompanied by an under the breath exclamation of "oh, oh, oh, oh" or a pointed "gee whiz." But no matter how busy he was he was always available for a chat, a laugh, to tease or try to "pull one over on you," as he would say. Dad lived a full life and to those that knew him, he will be remembered as honorable, kind, devoted, and yet profoundly humble.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service for Warren and Kelsey took place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville, with Rev. Deacon David Hasler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855- 825-3448.
