SEYMOUR, Wayne Ernest ~ Age 65, Kings Co., N.S., passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on August 2, 1960, in Kentville, he was a son of the late Ernest W. Buder and Rhoda M. Seymour. Wayne had served in the Canadian Armed Forces, working on aircraft structures with 33 ½ years of service. He had been an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, Kingston. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking. His love for his family showed no bounds and his most favorite thing was family get togethers and game nights. Weekends spent with friends and family from Debert, where Wayne could be the jokester and get us all laughing and the smile on his face said it all. We are all Blessed to have this beautiful man in our lives. Surviving are his wife of 39 years the former Susan C. Turner; daughters, Shawna (Shawn) Lonergan, Wilmot; Carrie Potter, Kentville; grandchildren, Chris, Tanisha, Breanna (Adrian), Stephen and Kaylee; great grandchildren, Coby, Teagan, Hunter and Peyton; sister, Trudy Brander; brother, Terry Seymour, both of Edmonton, Alberta; aunt/Momma Betty from Debert many nieces, nephews and cousins. A time in celebration of Wayne's life will take place at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to your favourite charity.
