STACK, Wayne Vincent ~ Age 68, of Kingston, Kings Co., N.S., formerly of Port George, Annapolis Co., N.S., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on March 8, 1958, in Metz, France, he was a son of Rose Marie (LeBlanc) Stack, Greenwood, and the late Vincent G. Stack. Wayne had attended Dwight Ross Elementary School and West Kings District High School. He moved west to Alberta in 1975, working in the oil and gas industry. Upon returning to Nova Scotia in 2002, Wayne started his own business WVS Oilfield Consulting. He was gifted doing artwork, and steampunk décor and always had a project on the go. Wayne loved his horses Dawson and Dillon, he was well known in the draft horse community and would faithfully attend the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown.He was proud of his Irish heritage and thoroughly enjoyed the family trip to Ireland in 1996. Wayne loved to spend time at the Bay of Fundy shore at his former property in Port George. Besides his mother, he is survived by brothers, Michael Stack, Kimberley, B.C.; Paul Stack, Greenwood; sister, Beth Morrison, Fredericton, New Brunswick; niece, Molly, Saige; great niece, Lilah, Kentville; aunt, Heather LeBlanc. Granville Ferry. Besides his father, he was predeceased by sister, Diane Stack-Kakonyi. A private graveside service for family members will take place at a future date in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston, with Rev. Wade Seymour officiating. The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone for their support and especially to his friends, John Parsons and Eldon Keddy for their care and love.
