Rafuse, Wendell Corey ~ age 75 of Kingston, NS passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2025. Born in Berwick Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Reta (Gould) Rafuse. Wendell was employed as an industrial mechanic for 38 years working in the textile industry, formerly Weavex, Kentville. He could build or fix anything while at work or home. He loved riding and working with his John Deere tractor and going camping. Wendell is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Ogilvie); son, Corey (Christy), Thailand; his precious girls, granddaughters Kaylie and Hannah, BC; sister, Valda (Barry)Morse, Auburn; brothers, Leo, Greenwich; Greg, New Minus; Garth (Kim), Kingston; Kevin (Tanya), Kingston; mother-in-law, Ruth Ogilvie-Fitch, Kingston and brother-law, Merrill Ogilvie Jr. (Judy) and nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Willis in infancy; sister-in-law, Judy (nee Nix), Connie (nee Wright) and father-in-law, H. Merrill Ogilvie, brothers-in-law, Robby, Danny and Timmy.

In keeping with Wendell's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Donations in Wendell's memory can be made to Valley Regional Hospital, Valley Hospice Foundation or a charity of choice.
