William Adolph
"Billy" Deveau
August 24, 1961 – August 9, 2020
DEVEAU, William Adolph "Billy" ~ Age 58, of Meadowvale, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his wife on Sunday, August 9, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. There are so many worthy aspects of Billy's life. He started his family run business 34 years ago and took great pride in providing his community with his professional services and friendly and helpful ways. Many of his customers turned into lasting friendships. Billy enjoyed so many adventures and tried to live life to the fullest with the massive amount of friends he made over the years. Motorcycling, boating, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, side by side touring and camping were a few of his fun & play activities. We can't leave out plowing snow, even though it was part of the job, he loved every minute he spent on his tractor. Billy never said goodbye - 12 months of the year he always said "pray for snow" when he was parting ways with anyone. Above all else, the most important thing to Billy was his family. Sandy, his love of nearly 40 years; his son, Nathan and his daughter, Katie, were his pride and joy, he never hesitated to grab the opportunity to brag about his tight knit family. Becoming a "Papa" was truly the biggest highlight of his life. He dearly loved his five beautiful grandchildren and made so many beautiful lasting memories with them. From sharing "secret special papa treats" to taking them for rides on his collection of motorized toys, his face was always lit up and happy when he was with them. One of the things he enjoyed the most was taking them for rides in his favourite toy – his 1927 Ford Model – T Car. He was a remarkable papa ! Billy is survived by his wife the former Sandy Allen; his son, Nathan (Laura Little), Meadowvale; daughter, Katie (Dre Merks), Gaspereau; his grandchildren, Caeden, Scarlet, Caroline, Evan and Emily; brothers, Bob, Greenwood; Tim, Harmony; sisters, Jeannine, Ontario; Jeannette, British Columbia; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
