Deveau, William Anthony – 76, of Kingston, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late William and Ethel Deveau. William enjoyed taking his children camping, hiking, and for Sunday drives when they were young. He was a spiritual man who was fond of yard sales and spending time with his granddaughter, Alex, watching cartoons. He had a special passion for reading and writing – assisted by his yellow highlighter! Many a day was spent watching the birds in the yard or NASCAR on television. He missed his late wife, Anne dearly. Surviving are his daughters Christine Deveau, Kingston; Angela (Chris Jackson) Deveau, Toronto, ON; and his cherished granddaughter, Alexis "Alex" Deveau, Kingston. He is also survived by a sister and a brother. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Anne, earlier this year. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
