WOOD, William Joseph "Bill" ~ age 74 of Greenwood, NS, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, in QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Miramichi, N.B., he was the son of the late Arnold and Anna (Nixon) Wood. Bill was an avid horseman and loved golfing. He was a school bus driver for 20 years and was extremely loved by all the children on the bus. Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret (Lavigne); Greenwood, NS; son, Stacy (Sheri) Wood, Nictaux, NS; sister, Karen (Ray) Krulicki, Rothesay, NB; grandsons, Brandon Wood, Oromocto, NB and Ryan Wood, St. John`s, NL. In keeping with Bill`s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00PM – 3:00PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, with prayers beginning at 2:00PM in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Due to allergies in the family, we request this to be a "scent free" event. In keeping with current restrictions, proof of full vaccination, masking and hand sanitizing are required.
