RYAN, William K. "Bill" ~ Age 95, of Kingston, Kings Co., formerly of Nictaux, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2020, in Kennedy's Boarding Home for Seniors, with Barb Kennedy by his side. Born in Halifax on November 2, 1924, he was a son of the late Alfred Thomas and Laura May (Anderson) Ryan. Bill is survived by stepson, Tony Nichols, Ontario; stepdaughter, Lucinda, Kingston; many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed special visits by two of his grandchildren, Jason Ritchie and Jennifer Ritchie.  Bill had 10 siblings, and is survived by sisters, Betty Curry and Ruby Porter, both of Halifax; Edith Bishop, Mississauga, Ont. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, the former Waneita Bernice Bruce; stepdaughters, Pamela Ritchie and Judy Bezanson. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in Nictaux Cemetery, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to your favourite charity.
