CROSS, William Martin "Marty" age 74 of Wilmot, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Grantham, England, he was the son of the late William and Gladys Cross. Marty was a firefighter with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 25 years and later was employed as a Commissionaire. Marty loved fishing and going to yard sales. He is survived by his companion, Freda Lashinsky, Wilmot; daughter, Anne Cross, Pembroke, ON and son, David (Sarah) Cross, Slave Lake, AB. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Janet. Visitation will be held 2:00PM to 4:00PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. The funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, October 5, 2015 in the United Pentecostal Church, Middleton with Licentiate Robert McDougall officiating. Interment will be in the Tremont Cemetery.
