DOYLE, William "Bill" Thomas – 62 of Greenwood Square passed away suddenly in Syracuse, New York on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late William and Cecilia (Boland) Doyle. Bill served in the Canadian Army for three years with PPCLI. He then changed elements from land to sea until retirement in 1995. Bill then became a long haul truck driver and was employed with Highland Transport from New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife the former Beverly Snow; daughter Dawn Doyle, Kingston, NS; sons William "Billy" (Sarah Bruce) and Patrick "Jason" both of Kingston, NS; sisters Barb Doyle, Joyce Doyle and Kelly (Gerald) Costigan all of St. John's, NL; brothers Antonio Doyle (Charlotte Through) and Charles (Anna) Doyle, both of St. John's, NL; grandchildren Jessica, Lissa and Ashton; step-grandchildren Rodney, Brady and Samantha as well as a great grandchild Codyn. He was predeceased by a sister Linda and a brother Michael. By request, there will be no service. There will be a visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, December 2nd in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902)825-3448. Family flowers only please.
