Obituary

OUELLET, Yvette, Kingston, NS. It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt Yvette Marie Simone Lacasse Ouellet, on 8 March 2012 at home in Kingston, NS. Born in Charny Quebec, 18 November, 1915, Yvette lived and worked for many years in Riviere-du-Loup, then in Quebec City until July 2010 when she relocated to Kingston NS to reside with her nephew Emile (Sharon) Fournier. Yvette was truly a lady, quiet, private and very artistic. She enjoyed fashion design, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading. After retirement, she became an accomplished artist and produced several treasured paintings. She is predeceased by her parents Joe Lacasse and Laura Dupont, her husband Paul Ouellet, as well as brothers Wilfred, Gilbert, Gedeon and Paul (Joe) and sister Helene. She leaves to mourn a sister Nelly, Charny QC, a number of nieces, nephews, friends and acquired extended family. Also, a special Pet Cesar (Rajah) The Cat! He provided much love and entertainment. As per Yvette's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. At a later date, Emile and Sharon will bring her ashes to Riviere-du-Loup where she will rest with her beloved Paul. By request no flowers please. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Thank You to our family and friends for your kindness and support during this time. Special Thanks to Dr Paul McGuire, Dr Adam Clarke and Judy DeWolfe -Cardiac Dept Valley Regional Hospital Kentville. Many Thanks to the responding EHS teams, Kingston Fire Department, RCMP and Rev Leon Langille for your rapid response, compassion, dignity and professionalism with which you conducted your special duties.
