CROFT, Zaira Telitha Kathleen – age 20 passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, at home in Middleton. Born in Oakville, Ontario, she was a daughter of Claire Croft, Middleton and Bruce Croft, Cairo, Egypt. Zaira was the kindest, selfless and most generous person you would ever meet. She loved her nephews Theo & TJ. Zaira loved all animals, writing songs and loved all holidays, especially Christmas. She loved Manitoba where she spent a year on a Cree Nation Reserve in Northern Manitoba and was widely accepted as one of their own. Zaira also enjoyed country music and was very outgoing and independent. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Besides her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Emily Croft (Josh Gray), Oromocto, NB and their children, Tyson and Theodore; Madeline Croft (Curtis Handley), Fletchers Lake, NS; Tegan Croft (Shayne Parker), Middleton; her brother, Noah Croft (Madison Clark), Borden, ON and maternal grandparents Serena Stewart, Oakville, ON and Darrell Biggers, Antigonish, NS. She will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Marlene Croft. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Zaira's life will be held 2:00PM Saturday, October 8, 2016, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with her aunt Rev. Michelle Biggers officiating.
